Long Beach Cyclists is in the process of filing for 501(c)(3) nonprofit status. Transitioning into a legally recognized California nonprofit organization will enable us to grow, apply for grants, and better address the larger picture. As Long Beach Cyclists grows, we can become an increasingly effective cycling advocate, and our educational programs and messages can reach more road users.
Long Beach Cyclists has no paid staff. All of us are volunteers. While there are costs to setting up and running Long Beach Cyclists as a California nonprofit, we believe set-up costs are cost effective, triggering benefits for us all. We have been granted Public Benefit Corporation status already. We have a few steps to go. Help us make it happen.
Which tax-deductible donation amount is the right fit for you?
Clicking on the Long Beach Cyclists.com logo above will get you to the membership form, that you can print out. Fill it out. Then stuff the form and your donation into an envelope. Make checks payable to Long Beach Cyclists. Give the envelope to a Long Beach Cyclists representative when you next see us, or mail it to Long Beach Cyclists at our post office box (PO Box 14556, Long Beach, CA 90853), which is the U.S. Post Office on Second Street in Belmont Shore.
Thank you for your support, and welcome to Long Beach Cyclists!  Let’s make some great things happen!
