Wow this seems like a great trip to take! I’m not nearly as close to being prepared to handle such a trip but hopefully one day I will be! The countryside would be a beautiful sight to see, especially from a bike. Santa Barbara and SLO are both cute towns with a lot of fun things to do! Jealous! I love traveling to both-fulfilling in every way. You should check out a great and affordable hotel I recently discovered-the Sandman Inn (www.thesandmaninn.com). Inexpensive and well placed.
