Another great post from Gary Rides Bikes! He’s on a roll. How is it people in a Hummer can run into a group of cyclists and be let go? With the police allegedly saying “If it had been me with my family in that car, I’d have done the same thing, and I carry a gun in my car.”
This sounds like assualt with a dealy weapon and hit and run to me. Why wasn’t this driver charged with anything? We need to form a coalition to get more legal assistance for cyclist whose rights are violated and lives put at risk.
I would like to hear what a judge has to say in traffic court. They usually get to the facts of who is at fault after determining right of way based on the vehicle code. Motorists need to wake up and pay attention. And why does anyone need to drive a military vehical for personal use–they’re road hogs.
