The Long Beach Cyclists put on a spectacular Bike Pavillion this year at University by the Sea. Not only did we provide bike valet service (thanks to Bryan for the logistics and planning and Bikestation for the man power), and give away lots of goodies (thanks to Walz Caps, , ZeroPerGallon and Adventure Cycling), show people how to vacation without a car (thanks to Alyson, Bernadette and Shawn), but we thrilled an eager crowd with Long Beach’s FIRST EVER roller race (big thanks to Josh for the rig, Lisa from Jones Bicycles for donating the prize winning bicycle and to Tony Cruz, Kings Bikes and Jax Bicycles for providing other awesome prizes).
We also found the fastest legs in Long Beach (atleast for tonight
.

The Long Beach Cyclist board expresses its deepest thanks to all the volunteers who put in long hours at the event, the extra hours preparing for the event and wonderful sponsors for their generous contributions. You all rock! Now for some pictures (I’m too tired to write any more).
